the hardest paper for me to write was the critical analysis of the movie we watch. I did not know how to put my thoughts on paper about the movie so that they would flow correctly. when I used the format ts cm cd it became alot easier for me. I am still learning how to paraphrase my thoughts so that they come from me and not directly from the person who wrote it.
It was very hard for me to create my thoughts and put them on paper. I always think about the person who is going to read my thoughts being able to critique me and judge me on my writing. this makes me feel uncomfortable and become withdrawn in critical thinking.
I love the challenges that this class had helped me to overcome. I do not think of myself as a failure and I learn to trust my thoughts on paper. I know that the reader can not judge me because I am entitled to my opinion of how I view things. I need to make sure that when I do my topic sentence and present my concrete details that is allow the reader to understand what I am trying to say instead of creating confusion.
I wish that majority of our prerequesite classes have more teachers like ms. peters. she makes you feel comfortable about understanding and english. ms peters does not judge and gives the person creative ways to understand how to write essay papers.

blog 7.
1. define style. I believe style is creating a perception about one character and likes in terms of material possesions. one person can like driving a beat up car and feel superior. another person can drive a lexus and feel superior. what it boil down to is one's perception.
2. define humor. being able to laugh at something inspite of how you think it should sound. enjoying jokes from others without being super critical.
3. I love to write papers on different articles, but it is very hard to put my words on paper for someone else to critique. I just feel that it is making the person so vulnerable when it allows another person to pass judgements on their thoughts.

when I was writing this informal summary, I learned that I am not a writer. It is not fun for me to sit down at a typewriter and create thoughts that are private to me and put them on a piece of paper for others to read.

I wish I would have take the time to carefully read my paper over and over before turning it in.
I saw alot of typos on the paper and grammatical errors that needed to be corrected before turning the paper in.
I also wish that I would have put more thought into the paper and talked more on the topic of obesity. this issue is really a crisis in America. I should have talked about how so many African American women of all ages are battling with obesity in their families.

I thought my critical analysis was fair on my opinion of the movie. the director lead you into different scenes that were controversial and confusing. Everyone in the town knew each other business.

"Research paper free write" Topics that interest me the most are teenage pregancy, sextexing, and childhood bullies. I also like reading about illiteracy among the black youth and gang violence. I read about this constantly, and really think that this issue is going to set African Americans back for fifty years. I am a single parent and really do not like this issue. I think single parenting is a big stressor, and their should be more tax credits involved for single parenting families.

I think I already sent a blog on this, but you do not have my blogger address to verify this comment. I love to write, so I am writing another comment anyway. I wish that when I am writing an essay, I can learn how to put my thoughts on paper for another person to understand. I have so emotions toward writing essays. Sometimes I loved to be challenged in putting my critical thoughts on paper. My thought are very personal to me and I believe when I let other people know my innermost thoughts, it would leave me vulnerable. I know this is not true, but I need help in overcoming phobia when creating these kind of essays.

I really like the small article on entering class discussions on page 135.
This article has taught me how to give my feedback in classroom conversations. I am learning how to control my anxiety through this English102 course, by constantly asking questions and learning different ways through the examples on page. 135 to interact with my colleagues on a student level.
I wish they had these books for me when i was a high school student. it really helps when their are guides on using showing the student different pointers on ways how to monologues within a group discussion. the phrase that impress me the most was "I take your point Nadia, that_____ still."
I though this phrase was very straight forward, and allowed the individual to apply his opinion to the topic without the other individual feeling offended.
I also like the phrase "though Sheila and Ryan seem to be at odds about _________, they may actually not be all that far apart". This statement shows that it is okay for two individuals to agree to disagree.
I wish that they would use this book in my son's high school. Whenever I am talking to my son about one topic that is controversial, he changes the topic without saying excuse me or sorry for changing the topic. I really feel disrepected when he does this and immediately closes any topic that we have open because of him not speaking or using english correctly.
I loved the pargagraph where it states that " in a class discussion you will do well to take some extra steps to help listeners follow you train of thought". I think this statement is so imporatant.
I really like how our professor kristen takes the time to help us understand english on a level that does not make us feel that we are stupid, but allow us to challenge ourselves in creativity when we are writing. kristen speaks eloguently on giving us steps to express ourselves in writing and through discussions in the classrooms. they say and i say is an excellent resource for indiviual reentering college and have to take english 102 for a prerequisite. The book is very short and is not overwhelming and the examples of speaking and writing are straight to the point, especiall the article that shows and individual how to enter into conversations without feeling inferior or anxious about how someone would react to their statement.
